Academic Formation

Antonio Guerrero graduated from Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2001. He began his career working at the Asepeyo Coslada Private Hospital and the Madrid Football Society before moving to Costa Rica to study Medicine. He then moved to London, where he continued his professional development as a physiotherapist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and London Bridge Hospital. Antonio continued to train and attend exclusive sports medicine courses at Barcelona Football Club.

He continued his medical studies in Seville and later realised that physiotherapy was his true passion, so he moved to Campo de Gibraltar, where he worked mainly at the Punta de Europa Public Hospital in Algeciras and the Valmar Clinic in Gibraltar. To complement his career, Antonio travelled to the USA where he learned the latest physiotherapy techniques in the most prestigious hospitals and clinics in New York: the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell), Equilibrium Physical Therapy and the Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre KIMA, among others.

Antonio has worked primarily in neurorehabilitation, orthopedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has focused on treating patients through the art of Manual Therapy so he learned one of the most prestigious manual techniques 'The Maitland® Concept' and graduated from the International Maitland Teachers. Association (IMTA).

Antonio Guerrero is an experienced physiotherapist, specializing in musculoskeletal medicine, sports and career injuries, and long-term injuries associated with sedentary lifestyles. He applies a variety of techniques and prides himself on providing individualised care to patients to help them achieve their specific goals; after all, no two patients have exactly the same injuries, experiences or goals!
